Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 May 2026
This policy explains how One Entertainment ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit oneentertainment.ie, request a booking, hold a performer account on our roster, or use the One Entertainment performer Android application.
We are based in Ireland and process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who is the data controller
One Entertainment, a sole-trader business operating in Ireland. Contact: bookings@oneentertainment.ie.
2. What data we collect
| Category | Examples | How collected |
|---|---|---|
| Contact details | Name, email, phone, venue or event address | You enter these in our booking form or when contacting us by email |
| Booking details | Event date, set time, fee quoted, status (pending / accepted / declined), private message threads with performers | Generated when a booking enquiry is made and as the booking progresses |
| Performer account data | Stage name, profile photos and video links, availability calendar, payout preferences | Provided by performers on our roster through the performer app or join-the-roster form |
| Technical data | IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed | Standard server logs at our hosting provider; not used to identify individuals |
We do not collect payment card numbers. Any deposits or balances are arranged via direct bank transfer or external payment provider after a booking is confirmed.
3. How we use it (and the lawful basis)
- To process your booking enquiry and notify performers — basis: contract / pre-contractual steps at your request.
- To send you transactional emails (quote, accept/decline, booking confirmation, message notifications) — basis: contract performance.
- To run the performer app — sign-in by PIN, syncing each performer's bookings and messages — basis: contract with the performer.
- To improve and keep the service running — basis: legitimate interests in operating a secure, working platform.
We do not sell personal data, do not run advertising on the service, and do not profile users.
4. Who we share it with
Personal data is shared only with the technology providers we use to run the service:
- Supabase (database, hosted in EU) — stores booking enquiries, performer profiles and messages.
- Resend (transactional email) — delivers booking-related emails on our behalf.
- Netlify (hosting) — serves the websites and runs the email-sending function.
- Google Workspace (mailbox) — handles incoming and outgoing mail to
bookings@oneentertainment.ie. - Google Play Services — for the Android performer app, standard platform telemetry as required by Google.
Each of these providers acts as a processor under written terms. We do not share data with marketing networks or data brokers.
5. Where data is stored and how long we keep it
Database content is stored in EU-region Supabase infrastructure. Email is stored in Google Workspace EU regions where applicable. Booking enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after the event date so we can handle follow-ups, then deleted or anonymised. Performer accounts are kept for as long as the performer is on the roster, and removed within 30 days of leaving on request.
6. Account & data deletion
You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you, including your performer account and any associated booking history. Two ways to make the request:
- Email bookings@oneentertainment.ie with the subject "Data deletion request" from the address linked to your account, or include your stage name / band name so we can identify the record.
- In the performer app, open Profile → Help → Message the One team, and send the message "Please delete my account and data". The booking team will confirm in writing before any data is removed.
What we delete on request:
- Performer profile, bio, photos and availability calendar — removed within 30 days.
- Direct messages between you and the One team or clients — removed within 30 days.
- Earnings & invoice history — anonymised within 30 days. We retain accounting records (invoice totals, dates, VAT details) for the statutory period required by Irish Revenue (currently 6 years), but the records will no longer be linked to a personally identifying account.
- Booking enquiries you submitted via the public booking form — deleted within 30 days of the request, or kept until 24 months after the relevant event date if the booking has gone ahead (whichever you prefer; we will ask when we confirm the request).
Once deletion is complete you will receive a written confirmation from bookings@oneentertainment.ie.
7. Your other rights
In addition to deletion, under GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, restrict our processing, object to it, and (where applicable) receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email bookings@oneentertainment.ie and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ireland.
8. Cookies and tracking
The website uses only the strictly necessary cookies required to run the booking flow. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
9. Security
Connections to oneentertainment.ie and the performer app are secured with HTTPS (TLS). Database access is protected by row-level security policies that limit each user to their own records. Server-side keys are stored as encrypted environment variables.
10. Children
The service is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Android app — additional notes
The One Entertainment performer Android app is a wrapper over the same web application. It collects only the data described above. The app does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or location. The only device permissions used are network connectivity (required to load the app) and notification delivery (optional, for booking and message alerts).
12. Changes
If we change this policy materially, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify users by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
